At Youth for Global Health (YoGlo), we are more than just a student club – we’re a youth-led movement. Started by passionate high school students, YoGlo is focused on making healthcare fairer and more accessible while helping young people learn about important global health issues.
Together, we believe students can make a real difference in creating healthier communities, especially in places where help is needed most.
To raise awareness, share knowledge, and support solutions that build healthier communities, especially in underserved areas, while motivating youth to lead change.
A world where every young person has the knowledge, confidence, and leadership skills to act on global health issues and drive solutions for a healthier future.
Our impact is simple: healthier communities, stronger youth leaders, and real world change through awareness campaigns, service projects, fundraisers, and local and global partnerships.
YoGlo is powered by passionate students who believe youth can lead the way to a healthier, fairer world. Our leadership team drives strategy, organizes projects, and inspires action, but every member plays a vital role in turning ideas into impact. Together, we’re proof that when young voices unite, change becomes unstoppable.
Founder & President, YoGlo
I am a high school junior who wants to become a doctor. I have volunteered for over 400 hours in various healthcare settings, which showed me how much of a difference even small acts of service can make. I’m CPR/AED and First Aid certified, MHFA certified. I am also CPR/AED certified instructor from American Red Cross and teach CPR for free to youth.
A big part of why I care so much about health equity comes from my time visiting India. Seeing kids and families without access to things I take for granted, like vaccines or annual check-ups, changed how I look at healthcare. It made me realize how important it is to spread healthcare awareness and help provide the basic needs people deserve around the world. I started YoGlo because I believe young people don’t have to wait until college or beyond to make a difference in health equity - we can start now. My dream is to keep building projects that make healthcare fairer for everyone.
